What is Magic Beans Community beta?

Magic Beans Community beta is our Private Mighty Network exclusively for our members to connect over home food gardening. Our regional groups make it easy to swap and share excess homegrown produce and gardening supplies. This is an interim platform while we build the Magic Beans app. By joining us here on mighty Networks, you'll be able to connect with us as we build the app. Your feedback, ideas and support will ensure that we make something we know you will love using!

How does it work?

When you become a member, you'll connected with veggie gardeners all over New Zealand, so that you can share your ideas, tips, garden photos, recipes and more. You'll also be able to draw on the collective knowledge of the community to ask for help if something is eating your tomatoes, or you want to know the best way to grow sweetcorn.

As well as the national group, there are sub-groups for each region. Join your regional group so that you can list excess homegrown produce or gardening supplies to swap and share with your local community. 

What does it cost?

Absolutely nothing! It is free to post in the national forum and to list, browse and accept swaps in the regional forums.

We will have some additional extras you can subscribe to such as a monthly gardening calendar for your region.
